On Wednesday, September 9, 2020 eLuma clinicians discussed healthy relationships between schools, clinicians, and families at a Partnership Showcase. Pola Morrison, an eLuma psychologist, shared strategies for clinicians to communicate with schools and parents while setting healthy boundaries during COVID-19. Jean Blosser highlighted her research on parent and family relations in her recent publication Let’s Talk Today! A Calendar of Daily Activities for Teaching Language Skills at Home. It engages families and provides parents with confidence, activities, and techniques to play a meaningful role in their child’s communication development and improvement.

Pola Morrison has been a school psychologist for 20 years in k-12 districts across the nation and as an Accessibility Services Director in Higher Education. She has a longitudinal view of how special education supports individuals in education because she has serviced students early to adulthood. Her passion is to help innovate and collaborate with special education support services. Collectively, we can find the right solutions for our changing world.
